Dr. Katherine Beuerlein

Dr. Katherine Beuerlein (she/her) earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of British Columbia Okanagan, where she trained in both brief and long-term interventions across diverse presenting problems, and psychological assessment across the lifespan. Katherine completed her predoctoral residency at Horizon Health, New Brunswick, gaining experience in both inpatient and outpatient public health settings. Katherine’s mission is to foster a supportive, accepting, and authentic environment for clients to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that may be maintaining unhelpful patterns, therefore promoting personal growth and meaningful change. She has a particular passion for supporting individuals who struggle with their 'inner critic', feel pressure to succeed, have difficulty balancing multiple roles, or are navigating periods of self-discovery. As a scientist-practitioner, she makes evidence-based clinical decisions, continuously evaluates and adjusts her approach based on client feedback and current research, and is committed to ongoing professional development.
